Multisol initially approached Polygon to develop and overhaul its marketing strategy. Although a highly respected global player, Multisol’s image was dated and out of sync with company’s operation as a market leader. As Multisol expanded its business into new countries and markets, the company was aware that its customer-facing image fell short of its actual capabilities, its world class service standards and product portfolio.

After undertaking a comprehensive review of Multisol’s requirements and existing promotional protocols, Polygon’s strategy included the design, development and build a new website from the ground up. From the outset, Polygon worked with the existing Multisol brand image to produce a set of dedicated brand guidelines that were previously absent. These have been applied to the business globally to ensure the company’s messaging is consistent across all territories.
Polygon also undertook advert design and media buying services, targeting key industry titles and websites to expanding the reach of Multisol’s familiar yet rejuvenated brand image.
As a strong supporter of key industry events and worthwhile local initiatives, Multisol relies upon Polygon to maximise the commercial benefits of these sponsorships through dedicated PR. These have recently included Irlam Live and the inaugural Women in Lubricants conference, hosted by the United Kingdom Lubricants Association.
Multisol’s social media accounts, established by Polygon, provided a further digital presence with the latest news plus promotions, events and industry updates to a captive audience, driving users to the new website.
Results
Today, Polygon works on multiple ongoing projects for this progressive company, encompassing advertising creative, design and marketing materials, including pop-up banners and a variety of branded merchandise, all following the refreshed brand guidelines developed and implemented by Polygon.
The website is now a focal point for customers, suppliers, potential customers and employees and traffic continues to grow exponentially at an average of 49% year-on-year. As well as news from inside the company, it has become an industry knowledge hub, with Polygon producing regular industry-led stories on latest trends.
