Challenges
Equiteq works alongside owners of firms in the knowledge economy to help them grow equity, prepare them for sale and execute a successful transaction and is a trusted advisor to firms globally, typically working with businesses from $5m to $100m+ in revenues across the world.
Polygon was tasked with creating a fresh and exciting document to showcase the written content, data and trends that Equiteq had produced. This document would be seen across the knowledge economy, predominantly within IT, Engineering, HR and Management Consulting sectors. Therefore it was imperative that this design-led project made Equiteq’s research accessible and easy to digest, whilst maintaining its distinctive and established visual identity.
Results
The final report provides key insight to deal sizes and structures, regional M&A activity, valuation multiples and trends, equity market performance and who’s buying by sector and is packed with vital information for owners across the knowledge economy who are considering selling their businesses.
Polygon utilised the existing Equiteq Brand Manifesto to create a flexible layout which would convey a huge level of statistics and information clearly to the reader. The style is very distinctive and allows the document to evolve year-on-year whilst maintaining an aesthetic and identity in line with customer expectations of Equiteq’s offering. The cover concepts use simple vector shapes in the corporate colour palette and conveys both a sense of destination and the prescribed ‘double meaning’.
The final product is distributed globally and made available for download via Equiteq Edge, a subscription only service that is used by over 6,000 consulting firm owners. Polygon also supplies all the graph elements in separate formats for use by the internal team in video, PowerPoint and presentation documents.
